It all started when the world paused during the COVID-19 lockdown. Trapped inside with endless spare hours, I was genuinely bored and searching for something tactile to do with my hands. That afternoon, I clicked on a beginner crochet tutorial on YouTube out of simple, restless curiosity.
I picked up some spare yarn and an inexpensive hook. At first, my tension was all wrong, loops were uneven, and I unraveled the same chain five times over. But when the first finished flower took shape, something clicked. The repetitive rhythm of hook and yarn became meditative, satisfying, and deeply addictive.
